The fact that tea room van hecke was right downstairs with its amazing waffles. Also, the room was big, kitchen inside was a plus.
We arrived at night and it was difficult to get into the building. No hairdryer and iron/ ironing board in th room. For a lenghtier stay these are necessary.

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights and can only say that, from beginning to end, nothing was too much trouble. The room was extremely comfortable, much better than I had imagined, wifi worked well too. The location is perfect for the major attractions and close to public transport. The surrounding area is perfect to get something to eat or drink locally. All, in all, staying at this hotel made my life easier and as I was on a tight schedule, with a busy few days this was more than appreciated. Breakfast was excellent too....But do not expect room service and it is a small boutique hotel - which I prefer but might not suit all. It is good value for the cost.

Modern and large room with a nice equipment. The staff is very friendly and the wireless connection is working. The location is great to visit the center of the city.
The room was on the 4th floor and we have to climb 67 stairs to be in the room as there is no lift. Please take that into account if you have a lot of luggages or if you are more than 60 years old.

The apartment was perfect for our needs. It was clean and comfortable (although up a lot of narrow stairs). The welcome was very friendly and the location was perfect.

Very friendly and the apartment was very clean and comfortable - well worth the climb up the stairs. It was also very close to the centre of Antwerp.

The apartment was spacious, very clean, nicely furnished and in a great location.
It is not an aparthotel, this is a complete misuse of the term. It is a series of apartments in an old apartment block with no lift (I had to carry my luggage up six flights of narrow stairs). There are none of the usual hotel amenities. I was 'told off' for not advising the caretaker when I would be arriving (she called me). The breakfast on offer for an additional 10 euros is at the restaurant next door. There are no 'hotel' facilities at all. Very noisy guests upstairs throughout the stay (inc at night). There is a problem with the drains - quite a pungent smell - which is apparently an issue in Antwerp in the summer, not necessarily just in this apartment.
